Job summary

New Engen is seeking a strategic HR partner in Seattle to align people strategies with business goals, coach leaders, and drive workforce planning. You’ll foster equitable policies, use data to guide decisions, and support compensation strategies in a distributed, remote-friendly agency environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of generalist HR experience, with at least 1+ year in a People Partner, HRBP, or strategic HR role
• Experience supporting dynamic or matrixed orgs, agencies or client services teams are a plus
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; you know how to influence and collaborate at all levels
• A deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices, with strong instincts around fairness and integrity
• Confidence in navigating conflict and coaching through complexity
• Data‑savvy and comfortable using metrics to tell stories and drive decisions
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s or HR certifications like SHRM-CP, PHR are a plus)

Responsibilities

• Align people strategies with business goals through org design and workforce planning
• Coach leaders and design development plans to drive performance
• Guide employee relations with equity, transparency, and compliant practices
• Identify high-potential talent and strengthen internal pipeline
• Collaborate with Engagement to boost belonging and growth opportunities
• Use people analytics to spot trends and inform decisions
• Shape and maintain equitable policies across the organization
• Provide input on salary reviews and market data for total rewards
