Job summary

Synthesia, a world-leading AI video platform, seeks a Senior People Partner to shape People strategy as we scale. You’ll partner with senior leaders across the customer organisation, acting as a strategic advisor and hands-on executor.

You’ll build high-performing teams, identify risks, and own delivery of critical people initiatives. You’ll collaborate with Talent, People Ops and Total Rewards, using data to drive organisational health and performance while leveraging AI to simplify people

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a People Partner, HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
• Experience scaling organisations and growth-stage evolution.
• Track record advising senior leaders on design, talent and leadership decisions.
• Strong diagnostic skills linking data, business performance and leadership behaviour to root causes.
• Commercial acumen and understanding of how organisational decisions impact productivity.
• Experience handling complex performance and employee relations matters.
• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills with stakeholders.

Senior People Partner

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior People Partner to help shape our People strategy and execution as we scale. You’ll report to the HR Director and work closely with senior leaders across our customer organisation, acting as both a strategic advisor and a hands‑on executor. You’ll build high-performing teams, spot emerging risks and opportunities early, and own the delivery of key people initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with leaders on organisational design, role clarity and how to structure for growth and impact
• Use data and insights (attrition, engagement, performance, talent distribution) to build a clear picture of organisational health and set priorities
• Advise and coach managers and leaders through complex people challenges, raising the bar on performance, feedback, accountability and talent development
• Support talent management practices including succession planning, performance calibration and development of critical talent
• Own the execution of key people initiatives from strategy through design and delivery, making sure they drive meaningful outcomes
• Take a hands‑on approach to complex performance, employee relations and organisational issues, using sound judgment and pragmatism
• Partner with specialist teams (Talent, People Ops, Total Rewards) and use AI and automation to simplify people practices and improve decision-making

We’d love to hear from you if you have

• Significant experience as a People Partner, HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role
• First‑hand experience of organisations scaling, with an understanding of what needs to evolve at different growth stages
• A track record of advising senior leaders on organisational design, talent, performance and leadership decisions
• Strong organisational diagnostic skills, with the ability to connect people data, business performance and leadership behaviour to find root causes
• Commercial acumen, and the ability to understand how organisational decisions influence productivity and business outcomes
• Experience handling complex performance and employee relations matters, balancing business needs, employee experience and risk
• Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge senior stakehol
