Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a data analytics professional to partner with People teams and translate analyses into data-driven insights. You will help shape the roadmap for people data investments and create automated dashboards that enable stakeholders to self-serve their analytics needs.

The role requires 3+ years of analytics experience, advanced SQL, and proficiency in Python or R. Experience with Tableau and people data metrics is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on analytics experience, preferably in people/HR analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills and ability to work with very large datasets.
• Proficient in Python or R for data wrangling and analysis.
• Extensive experience with Tableau or another leading visualization tool.
• Experience with people data metrics (headcount, attrition, recruiting) preferred.
• Familiarity with data architecture fundamentals and data warehousing.
• Proficiency with data modeling and data quality best practices.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Collaborative, organized, and self-guided.

Responsibilities

• Partner with People teams to turn analyses into data-driven insights and business recommendations.
• Develop and execute against roadmap for people data investments to capture near-term value and set up long-term success.
• Leverage statistics to conduct analyses that inform decisions.
• Write and maintain complex queries for HR analytics.
• Liaise with Data Engineering and HRIS teams to curate central people data repository.
• Design and build automated dashboards for self-service analytics.
• Prioritize analytic and reporting requests from the People team.
• Develop and support data governance and data quality processes.
• Effectively communicate analytic findings to non-technical audiences.
