About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (8+ years of experience) to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving insights from complex datasets, building data-driven strategies, and enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
You will work closely with business leaders, product managers, engineers, and other analysts to design analytical solutions, deliver actionable insights, and help shape our data strategy. As a senior member, you will also mentor junior analysts and ensure best practices in analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Translate business needs into data requirements, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis, forecasting, and data modeling.
- Partner with stakeholders to provide data-driven recommendations for business growth.
- Optimize data workflows and ensure high-quality, reliable data pipelines.
- Apply SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and automation of reporting processes.
- Support data governance, security, and compliance initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts in analytical methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to enhance data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar data-driven role.
- Expertise in SQL and hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Python, R).
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik).
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics.
- Experience working with large datasets, relational databases, and data warehouses.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience leading analytics initiatives and mentoring team members.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP - e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse).
- Familiarity with ETL / ELT processes and data engineering tools.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts for advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of business domains (finance, marketing, operations, product, etc.).
- Contributions to data-driven strategy and leadership in analytics teams.
