Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks a Sr. Operations Manager to provide onsite executive support at the Pentagon and Mark Center in Arlington, VA.

You will oversee daily operations and drive process improvements for DoD-side programs. The role requires 10+ years of management experience, a Bachelor's degree, and an active TS/SCI clearance. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop SOPs, and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a management or technical discipline.
• Proven experience in technical management and leadership, specifically in front office operations within government or military environments, with a strong ability to interface with personnel at various levels, from action officers to senior leaders.
• Demonstrated workflow management, process improvement, and organizational efficiency with SOP development.
• Strong project planning and management, including artifacts such as plans, schedules, and status reports, and experience with performance metrics and resource allocation.
• Mastery of MS Office tools.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite executivelevel support to the front office operations of senior OUSW(R&E) leadership.
• Oversee and manage daily operations, lead continuous process improvement, workflow mapping, and resource allocation to ensure timely, high-quality execution of all taskings.
• Develop and track assignments, design organizational support systems, and create management tools to enhance coordination and workflow transparency across the enterprise.
• Conduct staffing and operational analyses, implement process efficiencies, and develop SOPs that strengthen organizational performance.
• Evaluate programs against strategic objectives, establish performance metrics, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leaders.
• Lead project planning and management activities, including development of project artifacts, facilitation of team meetings, and synchronization of crossfunctional efforts.
• Support senior government clients with structured decisionmaking frameworks and provide personnel management and strategic planning support as needed.
