Job summary

Capita is seeking a Pensions Implementation Consultant (Configuration) to lead client implementations, configure systems, and automate calculations. You will manage projects, mentor analysts, and ensure high standards in a controlled delivery environment.

Ideal candidates have strong UK pension knowledge, experience with pension tech platforms, and advanced Excel skills. This role offers home-based work within the UK and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects and mentoring a team.
• Deep UK pension knowledge: DB, DC, CARE, annuities and admin implications.
• Ability to explain pension member records and relationships among stakeholders.
• Knowledge of pension/employee benefit technology platforms.
• Strong Excel skills: formulas, pivots, lookups, cell formatting.
• Proficient with MS Access.
• Ability to produce clear specifications from requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and interpreting client requirements and translating these into system solutions.
• Managing system configuration activities and quality.
• Delivering calculation automation.
• Leading client implementation projects.
• Training and documenting system usage for clients.
• Troubleshooting client queries and issues.
• Mentoring Implementation Analysts.
