Job summary

InfiCare Staffing seeks a Senior Pega Infrastructure Engineer to deploy and administer Pega platforms on Private Cloud. You will externalize Pega services (Kafka, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch), containerize apps with Docker, and deploy on AWS-based private cloud infrastructure. Strong Linux, IAM, and security expertise is required.

You will design scalable infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with DevOps, security, and architecture teams to deliver resilient enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT with senior infrastructure exposure.
• 3+ years hands-on Pega infra/cloud experience on Private Cloud.
• Proven ability to externalize Pega services like Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Experience with Linux, IAM, network security, CI/CD and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Pega Platform infrastructure in Private Cloud environments.
• Configure and manage externalized Pega services including Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Deploy and administer containerized Pega apps using Docker and Amazon EKS.
• Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and highly available Kafka, including topic management, partitioning, replication, and security.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production environments; manage disaster recovery.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Pega Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Pega platform deployment and administration on Private Cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on expertise in externalizing Pega services such as Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, containerizing Pega applications, and deploying solutions on AWS‑based private cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Pega Platform infrastructure in Private Cloud environments.
• Configure and manage Pega externalized services including:
• Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
• Deploy and administer containerized Pega applications using:
• Docker
• Amazon EKS
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Configure and manage highly available Kafka environments including:
• Topic management
• Partitioning and replication
• Security (SSL/TLS, SASL, IAM, ACLs)
• Monitoring and troubleshooting
• Manage OpenSearch/Elasticsearch clusters, indexing, retention, and search optimization.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
• Support production environments, incident management, performance tuning, and disaster recovery activities.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, and architecture teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on Pega Infrastructure/Cloud experience.
• Strong knowledge of Pega deployment and administration on Private Cloud.
• Experience externalizing Pega services such as Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Hands‑on experience with:
• Apache Kafka / Amazon MSK
• Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
• Docker
• Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, certificates, and access controls.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pega Containerization.
• AWS certifications.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK/OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise security practices.
