Senior Pega Developer (CSSA) role with an 11+ months contract offering hybrid work in Charlotte, NC / Pennington, NJ / Plano, TX. Responsibilities include building and supporting complex Pega CLM solutions, driving performance and security improvements, and mentoring teams.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in Pega development, 10+ years in software development, strong Java, REST, SQL, XML skills, and a track record of enterprise-scale Pega implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Pega development experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Pega applications.
• Strong expertise in Pega CLM, Case Management, Flows, and Integrations.
• Experience with Java, REST APIs, SQL, XML, and EAI.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing large-scale Pega applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, QA, Platform Engineering, and Architecture teams.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience with Pega Constellation, Blueprint, and GenAI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support complex Pega CLM solutions.
• Lead implementation of Trigger Based Refresh and modernization activities.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems, databases, and external services.
• Drive application performance optimization, resiliency, and security improvements.
• Implement Pega best practices, guardrail compliance, and reusable framework components.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with business, QA, platform, and vendor teams to accelerate solution delivery.
