Job description

Job Description: Pega Developer

Experience: 8-12 years

1. Meeting with business managers to discuss the company's BPM application needs.
2. Designing and developing Pega BPM applications.
3. Performing solution architecture within the Pega PRPC environment.
4. Designing class structures, application frameworks, and data models.
5. Coordinating with the project team to ensure the business architecture matches the needs of the customer.
6. Integrating business databases, legacy systems, and web services.
7. Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks. Conducting system performance tests.
8. Maintaining the security of all system applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
• Proven work experience as a Pega developer.
• Advanced knowledge of Pega PRPC 5.x/6.x/7.x. Familiarity with J2EE, XML, Java, JSP, and EJB.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of coding languages including AngularJS, Java, and JQuery.
• Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML. Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions or reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility studies, technical alternatives, best practices, risks, and estimations.
2. Provide technical guidance, define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
3. Develop and guide team members to enhance their technical skills and productivity.
4. Prepare and submit status reports to minimize exposure and risks or to facilitate escalation closures.
