Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience.
• RACC certification may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with grants administration and pre-award activities.
• Familiarity with sponsor submission systems (ASSIST, Workspace, Proposal).
• Healthcare/academic research setting experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple grants and projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-award financial management activities for grants from application to award closeout.
• Prepare budgets, justifications, and budget forms for submission and reporting.
• Provide budget guidance to principal investigators.
• Guide researchers on proposal development per agency guidelines.
• Negotiate contracts including clinical trial and subaward agreements.
• Coordinate with BCM offices to ensure timely establishment of awards.
• Maintain data on active/pending/closed grants and reporting.
• Assist with developing and improving grants management processes.
• Ensure compliance with policies and liaison with faculty, BCM, and sponsors.
