The role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years in a hospital or medical business office. You will handle pre-surgical clearances, maintain thorough documentation, and support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in a hospital or medical business office preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate, schedule, and register patients for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Interact with physicians, staff, insurance carriers, and patients to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow.
• Verify patient demographics, eligibility, and diagnostics according to scheduling protocol.
• Obtain pre-surgical clearance from PCP or specialty providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communications, ensuring adherence to budget and policies.
