Abacus Group seeks a Senior Reporting Associate for its Manhattan, NY office to lead investment reporting, data integrity, and portfolio analysis. The role requires financial modeling, strong analytical skills, and experience with private equity reporting. Hybrid work arrangements are available in the New York area.

The candidate should have 5-8 years of Fund of Fund experience within financial services or PE, with CPA being a plus. Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5-8 years of Fund of Fund experience with a PE focus.
• Financial services/PE industry required.
• Financial modeling experience required.
• Highly analytical.
• CPA is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and communicate quarterly and annual investment financial statements and reports to management.
• Maintain and manage a comprehensive investment database to support portfolio analysis.
• Conduct performance and benchmarking analysis against market indices and public comparables, including trend analysis.
• Develop quarterly underlying reports with detailed bottom-up analysis.
• Build and maintain relationships with private equity fund managers and external partners.
• Support technology and automation initiatives to improve portfolio monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of all investment data and records.
• Review and record investment activity across alternative investments.
• Prepare investor, management, and regulatory reports, along with cash flow forecasts and investment summaries for senior management.
• Respond to investor inquiries and complete special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
