Qualifications

• 3-5 years of fund accounting experience.
• Experience working at a public accounting firm.
• Private equity or hedge fund experience required.
• Real estate or credit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external financial reporting for private investments, including accounting for domestic and international investment entities.
• Oversee accounting activities related to investment transactions while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and serve as a resource on complex accounting matters across the organization.
• Execute fund accounting activities, including reconciliations, valuations, capital calls, distributions, NAV reviews, consolidations, and investment accounting support.
• Review the performance and accuracy of third‑party administrators and other service providers to ensure timely and reliable financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data and reporting processes to identify opportunities for enhanced insights, efficiency, and operational improvements.
• Produce accurate daily, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting deliverables while maintaining the integrity of accounting records.
• Collaborate with Operations, Tax, and other internal teams to review investment activity, investigate discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues.
• Evaluate accounting workflows, system functionality, and transaction processing to recommend process enhancements and automation opportunities.
• Support investment valuation reviews, performance reporting, IRR calculations, and waterfall analyses across a diversified investment portfolio.
