Job summary

Abacus Group seeks a Senior Reporting Associate for its Manhattan, NY office to lead investment reporting, data integrity, and portfolio analysis. The candidate should have 5-8 years of Fund of Fund experience within financial services or PE, with CPA being a plus. Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and communicate quarterly and annual investment financial statements and reports to management.
• Maintain and manage a comprehensive investment database to support portfolio analysis.
• Conduct performance and benchmarking analysis against market indices and public comparables, including trend analysis.
• Develop quarterly underlying reports with detailed bottom-up analysis.
• Build and maintain relationships with private equity fund managers and external partners.
• Support technology and automation initiatives to improve portfolio monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of all investment data and records.
• Review and record investment activity across alternative investments.
• Prepare investor, management, and regulatory reports, along with cash flow forecasts and investment summaries for senior management.
• Respond to investor inquiries and complete special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
