Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Staff PDK Development Engineer to lead the ground‑up development of PDKs for internal process technologies. You will implement schematic symbols, PCELLs, and verification flows, collaborating with modeling, ESD, and process teams to ensure robust CAD tools.

The role emphasizes automation, scripting, and close work with design teams and EDA vendors to improve reliability and efficiency for the ADI design community.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with emphasis on IC design.
• Experience with CDFs, Callbacks, PCELLs, schematic symbols.
• Experience in DRC, LVS and Parasitic Extraction runsets.
• Programming skills: SKILL, Perl, Python, Tcl, Bash.
• Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal simulation tools preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop schematic symbols, CDFs, and callbacks.
• Develop device PCELL layouts.
• Develop and improve DRC/LVS rule decks.
• Develop ERC rule decks.
• Develop PEX technology files and flows.
• Improve automated QA procedures for PDKs.
• Create LVL and SVS check runsets.
• Maintain netlist generation for analog simulations.
• Collaborate with EDA vendors to resolve tool issues and add features.
• Partner with design teams across modeling, process, and foundry groups.
• Provide technical CAD support to the ADI design community.
