Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Wilmington, MA, is seeking a Staff PDK Development Engineer to own PDK development for internal semiconductor processes.

You will build schematic symbols, PCELLs, DRC/LVS, ERC rule decks, and parasitic extraction flows, while collaborating with modeling, process engineering, and foundry teams. Strong programming and circuit design knowledge are required, along with excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented, team-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with emphasis on IC design and semiconductor processes.
• Experience with CDFs, Callbacks, Layout P-cells, and schematic symbols.
• Experience with DRC, LVS, and Parasitic Extraction runsets.
• Proven automation and programming skills in SKILL, Perl, Python, Tcl, Bash.
• Familiarity with analog/mixed-signal simulation and physical verification tools.
• Experience with Cadence or Siemens parasitic extraction tools and revision control.

Responsibilities

• Develop schematic symbols, CDFs, and callbacks.
• Create device layout generators (PCELLs) and verify layouts.
• Improve DRC/LVS and ERC rule decks for reliability.
• Develop and validate parasitic extraction technology files and flows.
• Automate QA procedures and validate CAD flows for both front-end and back-end.
• Build runsets for LVL and SVS checks and maintain netlist generation.
• Collaborate with EDA vendors and cross-functional teams to enable CAD tools.
• Provide technical CAD support to the ADI design community.
