Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Staff PDK Development Engineer to own PDK development for its internal semiconductor processes. You will craft schematic symbols, layout PCELLs, and PDK flow components while collaborating with Modeling, ESD, and Process Engineering teams.

You will implement automated QA, build LVL/SVS and LVX checks, and work with CAD vendors to resolve tool issues and push new features. A strong programming background and IC design experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of CDFs, Callbacks, Layout P-cells, and schematic symbols.
• Experience in development of DRC, LVS and Parasitic Extraction runsets.
• Automation and programming skills (SKILL, Perl, Python, Tcl, Bash).
• Knowledge of analog/mixed signal simulation tools and physical verification methodologies.
• Familiarity with revisions control systems and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop schematic symbols, CDFs, and callbacks.
• Develop device layout generators (PCELLs).
• Develop and improve DRC/LVS rule decks.
• Develop and validate ERC rule decks and Parasitic Extraction flows.
• Improve automated QA procedures for design kits.
• Create LVL and SVS check runsets.
• Support CAD tools and collaborate with device modeling and process teams.
