Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a hardware engineer to lead signal integrity for next-generation server components.

You will own architecture and development of high-speed PCBs including PCIe, motherboards, graphics, and accelerators, working with a cross-functional team to validate and launch hardware at scale. Join a diverse team of hardware and software engineers and TPMs to drive performance, reliability, and cost efficiency while advancing server design for cloud workloads

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience performing signal integrity analysis and optimizing high-speed PCB designs for signal integrity.
• 10+ years of experience designing complex electrical products at volume.
• Experience in high-speed interface design (DDR, PCIe, USB, etc.) with emphasis on signal integrity.
• Experience with PCB design tools (Allegro, CAM350, or equivalent) and demonstrated ability to perform detailed PCB reviews.
• Experience with signal integrity simulation tools (Ansys, Cadence Sigrity, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Own the signal integrity of next-generation server components and systems.
• Architect and develop high-speed, complex PCB designs for server components (PCIe, motherboards, GPUs, accelerators).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, validate, and launch hardware at scale.
• Optimize high-speed interfaces to ensure robust performance and cost efficiency.
