Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead PCIe hardware and firmware efforts across Core Components. You will partner with manufacturing sites and vendors to improve yields, test systems, and process reliability for current and next-generation server platforms.

You will analyze failure data, develop runbooks, and train teams while supporting certification programs to maintain AWS quality and scalability across global facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field required.
• Experience with failure analysis and root-cause investigation for high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SPC, DPMO, Cpk and QA metrics; ability to drive improvements.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with lab equipment and hands-on problem solving.
• End-to-end NPI participation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCIe hardware, firmware, and system yield improvement campaigns with partners and teams.
• Perform debug, root-cause analysis, and test readiness for volume manufacturing.
• Develop runbooks and train technicians and operators.
• Evaluate test coverage and feedback to strengthen test-to-design loops.
• Analyze failure data to identify trends and drive design changes.
• Support certification programs and documentation across sites.
