Xona is the navigational intelligence company bringing real-time, centimeter-level certainty to any device, anywhere on Earth. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will own PCBA validation and test for flight hardware in our fast-moving factory.

You will define the production/process validation testing (PVT) strategy, translate drawings and IPC criteria into digital work instructions, and partner with contract manufacturers to ensure hardware meets spec. You'll mentor teammates as we scale.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or test engineering in PCBA/electronics production.
• Experience with production/process validation testing for electronic assemblies.
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Experience with PCBA test methods ICT, flying probe, functional tests.
• Ability to read schematics, assembly prints, and BOMs, with GD&T basics.
• Strong root-cause analysis and nonconformance management skills.
• Hands-on in PCBA production environments with CM partners.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own the acceptance test strategy for PCBAs—receiving inspection, quality checks, and functional/environmental screening.
• Translate schematics and IPC criteria into inspection/test procedures embedded in digital work instructions.
• Specify, build, and qualify test fixtures and functional test stations.
• Own nonconformance management for incoming boards and drive MRB disposition.
• Conduct PCB contract manufacturer audits and manage SCAR workflows with QA/Supply Chain.
• Build measurement/test confidence through gage R&R and Cpk analyses.
• Analyze yield/defect/escape trends to drive supplier and internal process improvements.
• Collaborate with design and systems engineering to feed manufacturing data back into DFM.
• Mentor engineers and technicians on PCBA inspection and test practices.
