Job summary

Xona is seeking a PCB Layout Engineer to join our engineering team to design PCB layouts, maintain libraries, and collaborate with electrical, structural, thermal, and software teams for a complete satellite system solution.

The role emphasizes hands-on layout work, library maintenance, and templates for fabrication notes while supporting production and component sourcing in a space-focused environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years experience from schematics to manufacturing.
• Familiarity with design and simulation tools (Altium, Allegro, PADS).
• Understanding of electronics, power systems, and signal integrity; space applications.

Responsibilities

• Design PCB layouts under direction of electrical design engineers.
• Maintain libraries and define symbols/footprints.
• Develop fabrication and assembly note templates.
• Support PCB through fabrication and production updates.
• Assist with sourcing of electrical components and ensure they meet standards.
