Job summary

Xona is seeking a Materials & Inventory Specialist to support R&D, satellite manufacturing, and contract partners. You will manage flight hardware, components, and PCBA-related materials from receiving through storage, assembly, and shipment, ensuring traceability and timely delivery.

The role requires hands-on experience with BOMs, serialization, and ERP/MRP systems, plus a focus on accuracy, organization, and cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of materials, inventory, or production-control experience in high-reliability manufacturing.
• Experience supporting PCBA or electronics production preferred.
• Familiarity with BOMs, build schedules, and supplier coordination.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory-management software.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming receiving for hardware, components, raw materials, and production materials, including verification and three-way match support.
• Inspect incoming items for damage, traceability, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for serialized, lot-controlled, and revision-controlled materials.
• Coordinate material requirements for PCBA builds with Supply Chain, Engineering, and external partners.
• Prepare and issue electronic component kits for PCBA assembly with proper traceability.
• Track and reconcile consigned inventory at external suppliers and manage shortages and returns.
• Kit and issue inventory to internal manufacturing, integration, and test teams per BOMs and work orders.
• Maintain organized inventory locations per 5S and ESD requirements.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Support material configuration changes and movement of inventory between programs and storage.
• Coordinate movement of hardware between cleanrooms, warehouses, and suppliers.
• Assist with packing, crating, and shipping documentation.
• Operate lift equipment and related tooling as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory controls and ERP/MRP processes as production scales.
• Adhere to safety, quality, ESD, FOD, and configuration-control requirements.
