Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking aSenior PCBA Test Engineer to design, develop and support automated PCBA test systems used in high-volume production.

You will work with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Contract Manufacturing partners to ensure robust, repeatable test solutions that meet quality, delivery, and customer requirements. You will develop automated test applications using NI LabVIEW and TestStand, create GUIs and test reports, and collaborate with external manufacturers to implement

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document automated PCBA test systems for deployment at global sites.
• Develop automated test applications using LabVIEW and TestStand with GUIs and test reports.
• Collaborate with PCBA contract manufacturers to implement AOI, ICT, and FCT to improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Verify and validate duplicate automated test systems prior to release to contract manufacturers.
• Troubleshoot UUT failures and test-system anomalies; analyze test data to improve quality.
• Provide frontline technical support across time zones using remote tools.
