Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated electrical/ electronics engineer to design and revise custom PCBs for test fixtures, and to develop production test code for NI products. The role includes qualifying instruments for manufacturing applications and analyzing production test data for trends, aiding Test Engineers in automating test systems with hands-on hardware experience.

Candidates should have a BS in a relevant field and strong knowledge of LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python, plus RF/hardware

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Ability to obtain legal work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.
Understanding of high-level programming languages such as LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python
Understanding of analog signal considerations
Understanding of sources of measurement error
Understanding of appropriate instrumentation selection
Understanding of statistical data analysis
Understanding of hardware and software integration
Hands-on experience with electronic hardware
High-frequency circuit design, RF, and wireless communication experience is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Design or revise custom printed circuit boards for test fixtures.
Develop production test code for next-generation NI products.
Qualify instruments for Test applications deployed to Manufacturing.
Analyze production test data for trends indicating product or test-solution health.
Work with Test Engineers to assist with designing automated test systems.
