Job summary

Stored Energy Systems LLC (SENS) is seeking a Senior PCBA Supplier Quality Engineer III in Longmont, CO. You will own supplier quality for PCBA/electronics, lead supplier audits, and drive containment, CAPA, and action closure.

Collaboration with Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, and Operations is essential to ensure purchased products meet SENS requirements. Ideal candidates bring deep PCBA process knowledge, disciplined problem solving, and strong data analytics with Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in PCBA manufacturing or supplier quality.
• Knowledge of SMT/TH processes and PCBA defects.
• Experience with audits, CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC.
• Familiarity with IPC-610, J-STD-001, ISO 9001:2015.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier quality strategy for PCBA/electronics suppliers, onboarding, performance management.
• Plan and conduct on-site/remote supplier audits; evaluate quality systems and control plans.
• Serve as technical quality authority for assembly, inspection, and test.
• Define supplier-readiness for new product introduction and sustaining production.
• Lead containment and CAPA actions, 8D/root-cause analysis, and supplier communications.
