Job summary

TK Elevator in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Board Repair Technician III to support our internal field maintenance by repairing printed circuit boards and elevator drive systems. The role includes diagnosing faults in three-phase systems up to 675VAC, testing with oscilloscopes and multimeters, and following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a 2-year electronics program and 4+ years of hands-on experience, with strong soldering skills and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot analog and digital circuits to component level.
• Read and follow schematics for analog and digital circuits.
• Repair drive faults in power supplies, IGBTs, capacitors.
• Solder multi-layer boards (through-hole and surface-mount).
• Interpret datasheets and apply to circuit operation.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair analog and digital circuits to the component level.
• Diagnose and repair common drive faults (power supply, IGBTs, capacitors).
• Inspect and repair elevator drive systems and control boards.
• Read schematics and apply datasheet specifications.
• Follow documented test procedures with minimal oversight.
• Contribute to test strategy development for undocumented PCB assemblies.
