TK Elevator in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Board Repair Technician III to support our field maintenance operations by repairing a broad spectrum of printed circuit boards and elevator drive systems.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting analog/digital circuits to component level, high-quality soldering/desoldering on multi-layer boards, and reading schematics while maintaining safety and efficiency on the job.

Qualifications

• 2-year college, trade school, or military electronics repair program preferred.
• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting analog and digital boards.
• Ability to read and follow schematics.
• Ability to apply component data specifications to circuit requirements.
• Proficient soldering/desoldering on multi-layer boards.
• Experience troubleshooting without schematics is a plus.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work area with proper PPE and safety policy.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair analog and digital circuits to component level.
• Diagnose and repair drive faults (power supply, IGBTs, capacitors).
• Inspect, test, clean, and repair elevator drive systems and control boards.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and other test equipment.
• Read and follow board/system schematics and datasheets.
• Document signal readings and test results for memory.
