Job summary

Gorilla Circuits is seeking a Plating Manager to lead the plating department in a California manufacturing environment. You will supervise operators, ensure plating processes meet quality standards, and collaborate with engineering for process improvements.

The role requires strong leadership, deep plating knowledge, and a focus on safety and efficiency to achieve production targets while maintaining high-quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of plating experience.
• Strong knowledge of electroplating, etching, and surface finishing.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in using computer systems for reporting and tracking production data.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of plating operators and technicians.
• Oversee all plating processes and ensure quality, safety and throughput.
• Maintain records of production data and quality checks.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment uptime and PMs.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance in the plating area.
• Identify process improvements and provide feedback to Engineering.
