Figure AI in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced PCB Layout Designer to help design critical hardware for our Humanoid. You will own PCB layout from placement to production and collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Thermal engineers.

Candidates should have 5+ years in PCB design, strong Altium, power converter experience, flex/rigid-flex/HDI, EMI/EMC, DFx, and material stackup selection. External contractors will be coordinated.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Strong experience with Altium
• Strong experience designing for power converters (10W to >1kW)
• Strong experience with flex, rigid flex, and HDI designs
• Strong experience with DFx (high yield designs, designing for ICT/FCT, etc)
• Strong understanding of rule based designs (creepage/clearance, high speed rules, etc)
• Experience designing for EMI/EMC
• Experience proposing and selecting material and stackups
• A good grasp of EE fundamentals

Aufgaben

• Responsible for the PCB layout of new and existing designs, from initial placement to production.
• Preparation and release of fabrication/assembly files.
• Perform and manage vendor DFx reports.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Thermal engineers.
• Manage external PCB layout contractors.
