Power Device Corporation in Bohemia, NY (onsite) seeks a Senior PCB Layout Designer to craft high-density PCB and hybrid layouts for aerospace and defense applications. You will work with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to packaging with SolidWorks.

The role requires expertise in Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Pentalogix Viewmate, and manufacturing knowledge. Onsite in Bohemia, NY or Poway, CA with a competitive compensation package.

Qualificações

• 6–8 years of PCB design experience, including hybrid circuits and discrete PCBs.
• Experience with high-speed, high-density multilayer layouts.
• SolidWorks for electronics packaging, 3D parts and assemblies.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes for manufacturable designs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Cadence Allegro X 24.1 and Cadence OrCAD X 24.1.
• Experience with Pentalogix Viewmate Pro and BluePrint PCB.

Responsabilidades

• Design high-speed, high-density, multilayer PCBs and hybrid circuits, from component placement and routing through final release.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to resolve layout issues and confirm design requirements.
• Use SolidWorks to support electronics packaging, including PCB outlines, component envelopes, enclosures, mounting features, and connector locations.
• Create and update 3D models and mechanical drawings; verify fit, clearances, and alignment between PCB assemblies and packaging.
