Job summary

Actalent in Redmond, WA is seeking a Senior Hardware Electronics Design Engineer (PCB) to lead architecture, design, and prototyping of embedded systems from concept through production-ready hardware. The role emphasizes PCB/FPC design, sensor systems, power electronics, and close integration with firmware.

You will own designs end-to-end, collaborate with mechanical engineers on packaging and stack-up, and work onsite at Redmond, WA.

Qualifications

• End-to-end ownership of board design from concept to production.
• Experience in analog, digital and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Proficiency with Altium and Cadence for schematics and layout.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and detailed subsystem specs for embedded electronics.
• Design and optimize multi-layer PCB and FPC layouts for high-speed signals.
• Develop power management and battery systems to meet safety and efficiency targets.
• Create schematics and ECAD designs using Altium or Cadence.
• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ and implement PID control.
• Validate hardware with test automation and collaborate with EMS partners.
