Job summary

Echodyne seeks a Principal Analog and Mixed-Signal Electrical Engineer to lead new circuit architectures and fast prototyping for radar products. You will guide the signal chain from design through characterization, enabling rapid product transitions within a high-performance, cross-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include developing high-speed data acquisition, precision timing, compute interfaces, and power entry/conditioning for a larger radar platform, while mentoring others and shaping

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with extensive hardware development experience.
• 12+ years of relevant electrical hardware development experience or equivalent.
• Export control eligibility (ITAR/EAR) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead analog, mixed-signal, timing, data-conversion, and power tech development for Echodyne radar platforms.
• Develop practical receiver interfaces, clocking architectures, and power circuits.
• Design, simulate, bring up, and characterize prototype hardware to prove feasibility and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with RF, FPGA, PCB, systems, and mechanical teams under tight constraints.
• Apply best practices for reliability, DFM, DFA, signal and power integrity, testability.
• Provide principal-level leadership through reviews, mentoring, and transition to product development.
