Job summary

Radionix is seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer in Fairport, NY to design the hardware behind life-safety and security products. You will work with hardware, firmware, RF, and mechanical teams to move concepts into manufacturable boards.

You will design PCB layouts for digital, mixed-signal, power, RF, and wireless products, define stack-ups, perform SI analysis, and collaborate with global engineers to meet performance and cost goals while ensuring EMC compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of PCB design experience.
• Strong understanding of schematic capture and PCB layout methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple design activities with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design PCB layouts for digital, mixed-signal, power, RF, and wireless products.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, RF, and mechanical engineers.
• Create and maintain schematics, symbols, footprints, and libraries.
• Define PCB stack-ups and impedance, differential routing, DDR signaling.
• Perform or support signal integrity analysis of critical interfaces.
• Support EMC and regulatory compliance through best-practice PCB design.
• Review designs for manufacturability, testability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and support new product development initiatives.
