Job summary

Radionix in Fairport, NY is seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer to join our product development team. You will design layouts for digital, mixed-signal, power, RF and wireless products from concept through production, collaborating with hardware, firmware, RF and mechanical engineers.

You will create schematics and libraries, define stack-ups, support impedance and signal integrity, review designs for manufacturability, and work with fabricators during prototypes and production builds. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of PCB design experience in production environments.
• Experience designing multi-layer PCBs and with schematic capture.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design PCB layouts for digital, mixed-signal, power, RF, and wireless products.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, RF, and mechanical engineers to meet requirements.
• Create and maintain schematics, symbols, footprints, and libraries.
• Define PCB stack-ups and support controlled impedance, differential routing, and DDR signaling.
• Review designs for manufacturability, testability, reliability, and cost.
• Support EMC and regulatory compliance through best-practice PCB design techniques.
• Partner with PCB fabricators during prototype and production builds.
