Job summary

Rad Source Technologies, Inc. in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for PCB & hardware design.

You will own board design from concept to production, including power distribution, EMC considerations, and regulatory alignment, while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team on-site. The role emphasizes hands-on bring-up, testing, and cross-functional coordination to ensure robust, compliant x-ray system electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 5+ years hands-on electrical circuit and PCB design experience.
• Experience from schematic to layout, fabrication, assembly and bring-up.
• Experience with power distribution circuit design; signal integrity awareness.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 design and development processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, review, and approve electrical schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Develop and maintain DFMEA; contribute to PFMEA and process control plans.
• Create electrical design docs including block/wiring diagrams and BOMs with revision control.
• Develop electrical project plans aligned with product roadmaps and schedules.
• Design and validate power distribution circuits with attention to signal integrity and EMC.
• Lead board bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting of prototype and production hardware.
• Support electrical hardware for PLC-based control systems with the controls team.
• Develop test methods and verification/validation plans; manage test programs.
• Coordinate with mechanical, software, and regulatory teams for safety/compliance.
• Interface with vendors for component selection and contract manufacturing.
• Report project status and proactively elevate risks.
• Execute design processes per ISO 9001 requirements including design inputs/outputs, reviews, verification, validation and change control.
