Job summary

Apptronik is seeking a Senior ECAD Designer to own PCB schematic capture and layout in Altium Designer, with depth in power electronics and high-speed digital design. You will take boards from architecture through layout, aiming for production-ready designs.

You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams, apply DFM, SI/PI, EMC/EMI practices, and document designs with Gerbers, BOMs, and assembly drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years PCB schematic capture and layout experience.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer for layout and schematic capture.

Responsibilities

• PCB design and layout for mixed-signal and high-speed boards.
• Design power delivery networks and thermal reliefs.
• Implement controlled-impedance routing and differential pairs.
• Support design-for-manufacturability and DFA with fabricators.
• Ensure EMC/EMI mitigation and regulatory readiness.
• Produce Gerbers, BOMs, drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and manufacturing teams.
• Mentor junior designers on layout best practices.
