Northrop Grumman seeks a Staff Board Designer in Baltimore to create high quality PCB layouts for defense-grade products. You will translate schematics into production-ready boards, collaborating with hardware engineers, mechanical designers, and manufacturing teams.

You will perform DRC, thermal and signal integrity analyses, mentor junior designers, and stay current with industry trends like HDI, high-speed design, and advanced routing techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with extensive PCB/layout experience.
• Minimum of 10 years hands-on PCB layout in high volume/complex environments.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics tools and advanced routing/stack-up configuration.

Responsabilités

• Develop complete PCB layouts from component placement to multi-layer routing.
• Perform DRC, signal integrity simulations, and thermal analyses; document compliance.
• Lead design reviews with electrical, mechanical, and reliability teams; drive closure.
