Job summary

Hendrick Technical Solutions in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Senior Electronics Assembly Technician to build, rework, and test PCBAs for government and commercial programs. The role sits on the Production team and collaborates with electrical engineers on prototypes and transition to production.

You will work in a low-volume, high-mix environment, perform SMT/THT soldering, rework, inspection, and functional testing, and help create repeatable work instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on PCB assembly or electronics experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR compliance.
• Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and wire lists.
• Experience with rework, conformal coating, and functional testing.

Responsibilities

• Build, rework, and test PCBAs for government and commercial programs.
• Inspect, power up, and functionally test assembled boards; troubleshoot to component level.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on prototype and first-article boards and write repeatable production instructions.
• Build, route, and test wire harnesses and cable assemblies when PCB workload allows.
• Follow IPC standards and maintain build records and travelers.
