Job summary

Hendrick Technical Solutions in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Electronics Assembly Technician to build, rework, and test PCBAs for government and commercial programs. You will work with electrical engineers, moving boards from prototype to repeatable production.

In a low-volume, high-mix environment, you will lead PCB builds, perform wiring work when PCB loads are light, and train teammates as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of PCB assembly/rework experience.
• Ability to read schematics and BOMs.
• U.S. Person; ITAR compliance required.
• IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 familiarity.
• Strong soldering and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Hand-solder SMT and THT components to IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 standards.
• Perform rework and repair, including component replacement and trace/pad repair.
• Inspect, power up, and functionally test assembled boards; troubleshoot to component level.
• Build prototype and first-article boards with engineers; provide DFx feedback.
• Turn engineering builds into repeatable work instructions for production.
• Build, route, and test wire harnesses and cable assemblies when PCB workload allows.
• Verify kits against BOM and maintain travelers, traceability, and build records.
