Job summary

Micron Solutions in Fitchburg, MA seeks a Senior CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) / Metrologist to lead metrology efforts across engineering and manufacturing. You will develop CMM programs, set up inspections, perform Gage R&R, and mentor inspectors while advancing quality improvements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in metrology, solid GD&T knowledge, and experience with PC-DMIS and vision systems. This on-site role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in metrology, CMM programming, quality engineering, or precision manufacturing.
3–5 years of hands-on CMM programming experience required.
Strong proficiency with Hexagon PC-DMIS programming and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CMMs with emphasis on PC-DMIS.
Develop measurement strategies for plastic and metal components.
Program and operate vision measurement systems and advanced inspection equipment.
