Job summary

The Tool & Gage House in Peoria, IL is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer/Technician to join our team. You will develop and document automated metrology programs on major CMM platforms, ensuring accuracy and revision control.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in a manufacturing or quality environment and GD&T training, with experience on platforms such as PC-DMIS, Zeiss, or Calypso. This on-site role offers a collaborative, quality-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Advanced CMM programming training preferred.
• 2+ years programming on a major CMM platform preferred.
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing or quality environment, preferably under QS-9000, ISO-9000, ISO/IEC 17025.
• Advanced GD&T training preferred.
• 5+ years in a precision metrology setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document automated metrology programs following best-practice standards and inspection plan requirements.
• Maintain the accuracy, availability, and revision control for all created programs.
• Resolve issues related to inspection, data collection, and documentation that impact quality and operations.
• Create advanced-level CMM programs for complex metrology requirements.
• Provide expert troubleshooting support for metrology and manufacturing-related challenges.
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives in metrology processes.
• Coordinate and integrate new metrology software and hardware solutions.
