Job summary

The role partners with the Payroll Director and stakeholders to improve payroll accuracy, controls, and scalability while driving automation and continuous improvement. This senior IC role focuses on governance, leadership, and strategic implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, HR, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive payroll or related experience including leadership of cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll operations, payroll tax, wage and hour rules, controls and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional payroll and workforce management programs from planning through implementation and transition to operations.
• Develop program charters, workplans, milestones, risk logs, testing plans, and change management strategies.
• Coordinate requirements, solution design, testing, cutover, and post-implementation optimization for payroll and timekeeping initiatives.
• Provide leadership for UKG stabilization, Oracle releases, payroll tax optimization, vendor transitions, and M&A payroll projects.
