Responsibilities include preparing tax documents, reconciliations, and tax form distributions; researching discrepancies; interpreting tax codes; updating procedures; and communicating regulatory changes to leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• Three years multi-state payroll tax experience
• One year of Senior/Lead or Supervisor experience
• PEO or related industry experience preferred
• Hands-on tax return processing experience
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll laws (federal, state, local)
• MasterTax and Prism/HRP experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Prepare or review tax documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
• Perform tax reconciliations and determine liabilities for accounts or units.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of tax forms.
• Research discrepancies and answer questions.
• Interpret tax codes and update procedures for changes.
• Notify leadership of regulatory updates and implement changes.
• Resolve escalated issues with clients or internal teams.
