Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in Workday and familiarity with other payroll systems (e.g., ADP).
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently and in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular internal payroll audits to verify data accuracy and policy compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
• Interpret tax codes and respond to changes in tax law.
• Review payroll tax processes and look for automation opportunities.
• Assist in developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures.
• Coordinate changes with HR tech team and external vendors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on enterprise projects.
