Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee end-to-end payroll operations across the U.S. and Canadian manufacturing network. The role drives accuracy, ensures compliance with laws and policies, and standardizes payroll SOPs across regional locations.

Responsibilities include supervising payroll staff, auditing inputs/outputs, and coordinating with HR and finance to ensure accurate gross-to-net calculations, garnishments, and tax withholdings in a multi-state environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Payroll leadership in manufacturing/logistics/multi-site environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll and advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data validation).
• Deep understanding of FLSA regulations, multi-state tax compliance and nexus rules across states.
• Strong integrity, confidentiality, and communication skills with managers, HR partners and employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, execute, and finalize accurate bi-weekly/weekly payroll for hourly, salaried and executive populations.
• Manage multi-state payroll taxation and compliance with local, state, provincial, and federal laws.
• Audit payroll inputs and outputs for gross-to-net pay, garnishments, benefits, and tax withholdings.
• Lead, train, and mentor the payroll team; promote continuous improvement and service.
• Manage General Ledger Accounting for Payroll Operations.
• Standardize payroll SOPs.
