Job summary

CR&R Incorporated seeks a Payroll Supervisor to lead a multi-state payroll team and ensure accurate, compliant processing for 1,500+ employees.

In this hands-on leadership role you’ll supervise daily payroll operations, audit timecards and deductions, and partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to drive process improvements across multiple locations. California wage-and-hour expertise and CPP certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of payroll experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with multi-location or multi-state payroll.
• Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws and compliance.
• Proficient in advanced Excel.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Paycom).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily payroll operations and lead staff.
• Process payroll for multi-state workforce with accuracy and compliance.
• Audit timecards, adjustments, deductions, overtime, garnishments, and taxes.
• Lead reconciliations, reporting, audits, and internal controls.
• Develop and improve payroll procedures for efficiency.
• Train and coach payroll personnel while maintaining service.
