Job summary

McKesson is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll Production team. This role will manage assigned USON payroll populations across frequencies and ensure accurate, timely processing in Workday.

You will perform end-to-end payroll activities, validate data with EIBs, conduct audits, and support quarter- and year-end closes. A minimum of 3+ years in payroll and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive payroll processing experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll.
• Experience using enterprise payroll systems (Workday) and EIBs.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
• Ability to prioritize payroll deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned USON payroll populations and frequencies.
• Perform end-to-end payroll activities including input, calculation, validation, and post-payroll tasks.
• Analyze payroll results and resolve discrepancies in earnings, taxes, and time data.
• Execute payroll controls and audit support with documentation.
• Support quarter-end and year-end activities and respond to inquiries via ServiceNow.
