Job summary

McKesson is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll Production team in the United States. The role focuses on independently managing USON payroll populations, performing end-to-end payroll activities, and ensuring accurate, timely processing across payroll frequencies.

Responsibilities include data preparation, validation, reconciliation, and post-payroll activities, plus researching complex discrepancies and maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive payroll processing experience.
• Experience with end-to-end payroll processing and payroll corrections.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
• Experience with large data sets and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned USON payroll populations and practices across applicable payroll frequencies.
• Perform end-to-end payroll activities including input, validation, reconciliation, and post-payroll activities.
• Prepare, load, validate, and reconcile payroll data using Workday EIBs and other tools.
• Analyze payroll results and research complex discrepancies involving earnings, deductions, taxes, and time data.
• Execute payroll controls and exception reviews including time and attendance, one-time payments, and transfers.
• Maintain documentation and audit evidence supporting payroll controls and processes.
