Job summary

Holon Health is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage accurate, timely payroll across two entities and a growing multistate workforce.

You will own day-to-day payroll operations, including biweekly payroll, incentives and bonuses, audits, and benefits funding coordination, while building scalable processes for our expanding team.

Proficiency with Paylocity is required; you will lead payroll requests, ensure compliance, and support the HR and accounting teams as we grow.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of hands-on payroll processing, including multistate payroll.
• Direct experience with Paylocity, including audits and reporting.
• Experience managing multiple payroll schedules and variable compensation.
• Knowledge of payroll tax administration and wage-and-hour requirements.
• Experience coordinating state tax registrations with a payroll provider.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll for two entities with biweekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles.
• Review time records, deductions, and incentive submissions for accuracy and approvals.
• Audit payroll before submission and reconcile results; investigate discrepancies.
• Process approved payroll adjustments and off-cycle payments as needed.
• Maintain payroll calendar and deadlines; send reminders.
• Support tax registrations, year-end reconciliations, and W-2 accuracy.
