Duncan-Parnell Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage multi-state payroll processing and ensure compliance across locations using Paylocity. This role partners with HR, Accounting, and department leaders to ensure accurate pay and tax withholding.

The ideal candidate will have Paylocity/HRIS experience and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include processing bi-weekly payroll, reviewing inputs, handling off-cycle payments, and supporting audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of progressive multi-state payroll experience.
• Hands-on Paylocity or HRIS administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for all employees using Paylocity.
• Review timekeeping data, new hires, terminations, status changes, garnishments prior to payroll.
• Calculate and process off-cycle payments, retroactive pay, bonuses, commissions, and final paychecks as required.
• Reconcile payroll registers and GL postings; ensure payroll data integrity.
• Serve as primary contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll and HRIS data integrity and run related reports.
